Pottery, Ceramic, stoneware

So much more than a passion, clay is the soul of my creative outlet

I'm an independent ceramic artist finding my passion for all things clay way back when I took my first pottery lesson and started on this epic journey to being a full tutor and potter today.

Perched on the hills overlooking Lake Taupo, Camo Chicken studio creates ceramics that are both functional and sculptural, useful, and beautiful. Inspired by both the strength and vulnerability of clay resulting in organically functional wares. Sharing knowledge in the form of Pottery wheel school and studio workshops.

Living the four seasons honestly and organically as possible, I find inspiration in nature for creating unique art and pottery.

I am a Wairarapa Potter and Painter and work from my studio on our lifestyle property in the peaceful Rangitumau Valley, just North of Masterton. I also teach pottery in individual or group sessions.

Most of my pottery is commissioned, sold at markets and on line through instagram @katespotterynz

I love creating unique functional pottery with some funky design and experimenting with all sorts of clay, glazes and styles, mainly inspired by nature which never ceases to amaze me with it’s colour and form

I am in my happy place when I am playing with clay, one of my biggest delights is when I open a kiln that has been fired and see what colours and designs have been created.

When you buy a piece of my pottery you can be sure to have a unique piece where art, function and beauty meet.

Welcome to Marlee May Designs! Let us introduce ourselves - we are a husband and wife team based in Wairarapa. In between running a busy household and working full time, we create cement-based interior decor. Initially we started by creating planter pots for our own plant cuttings.. and that soon turned into requests for us to make more. Our hobby grew, and now we market our prouducts at local fairs, markets, on social media and via word of mouth.

Our products are all hand-made, cement-based and sealed for protection. Whether you are searching for quirky decor for your home, office or for gift ideas for one of those hard-to-buy-for loved ones, we have you covered! We offer a range of items, from quirky booty vases and candles to much more contemporary items to hold jewellery and more!

You can find us on Facebook or Instagram by searching Marlee May Designs!

Pots By Aimée Wheel thrown mugs, bowls, dishes, platters, and delicate decorative pieces are my mainstay items for the Martinborough Fair. I also make large bowls and coil-built sculptural pieces suitable for inside or out. Everything is made and fired at my home studio in Ngaio, Wellington in either my large gas kiln or small electric one. I do not have an online shop, but supply several galleries around the country, do a few fairs (when they’re not cancelled) and sometimes have open weekends at home. Hello and welcome to my ceramics - Studio Vos Ceramics

I love creating decorative and functional ceramic wares to be beautiful and well enjoyed - Uniquely handmade ritual pieces for your favorite morning coffee, serving ware for family dinners, and vases for flower lovers.

Largely inspired by Scandinavian and Japanese design of simplicity and complexity. A simple shape and form, with the hand-made, tool marks, and natural clay textures left to be part of the finished piece. This gives each piece a depth which can't be replicated.

Stay connected and find out about new products on my Instagram page @studiovosceramics

I also create unique one off jewellery which you can view online or on Instagram @Studiovoscreative
